4 civilians dead in Uruzgan blast

TIRINKOT (PANinfo-icon): Four civilians were killed and a fourth injured during a roadside bombing, a weapon of choice for the Talibaninfo-icon, in central Uruzgan province on Friday, an official said.

The blast took place in Khanaqa area of the provincial capital, Tirinkot, in the morning when the victims' vehicle hit the roadside bomb, crime branch chief, Col. Gulab Khan, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said the injured man was shifted to hospital where he was in stable condition. No one has been arrested so far in connection with the bomb attack. The Taliban militants often claim responsibility for such assaults.
