Jordon equips 80 Logar mosques

PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): The Jordanian military has so far assisted 80 mosques with equipment in central Logar province, an official said on Tuesday.   

Over the past 10 days, the military provided loudspeakers, carpets and solar energy systems to mosques in the provincial capital and districts.

Hajj Ghulam Rassoul Kamran told Pajhwok Afghan News efforts were underway to facilitate the rest of mosques in Logar.

Syed Abdul Majid, a resident of the Kolangar area, said: “The Jordanian military has provided a 120-square metre carpet for our mosque.”
