Dawlat Khan, the district’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in Nori village at about 4:00pm. A seven years old child was killed on the spot and an 11 years old succumbed to his injuries later on.

Dr. Hedayatullah Hamidi, the director Khost Civil Hospital, said the wounded child was taken to a district clinic for treatment.
