KHOST CITY (PAN border on Sunday, officials said.

Dawlat Khan, the district’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in Nori village at about 4:00pm. A seven years old child was killed on the spot and an 11 years old succumbed to his injuries later on.

Dr. Hedayatullah Hamidi, the director Khost Civil Hospital, said the wounded child was taken to a district clinic for treatment.

But Abdul Latif, the village prayer leader, said the child later died in the clinichospital. “I led funeral prayer for the child,” he added.

A week ago, three civilians were killed in a roadside bombing near the energy and power department in Khost City.
