KABUL fighters were killed, 13 captured and tonnes of explosives were unearthed.
A Ministry of Interior’s statement on Sunday, said in the operation, one insurgent was wounded and half a tonne of explosives were discovered.
The search operations were carried out in Kabul, Kunduz, Kandahar, Helmand, Nimorz, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Khost and Paktia provinces.
The statement added that police also discovered 18 roadside bombs, in Kapisa, Kunduz, Balkh, Kandahar, Herat and Helmand provinces.
Besides, the 101 Asmaee police zone in Kabul arrested seven suspects on different criminal offences, it said.
Three days ago, the ministry disclosed that 35 militants were killed and 12 arrested in different security operations across the country.
