He promised the construction of buildings for the university’s auditorium, cafeteria and teaching rooms in the near future.

On the occasion, Governor Mohammad Alam Sayee said the university had an important role in promoting scientific education in the province. He called for more attention to infrastructure development projects.

“Most of students cannot afford to pay residential expenses due to economic constrains,” Raqib Ahmad, said a second year student.

Vice-Chancellor Eng. Mohammad Hashim said up to 2,363 students were studying in faculties of economics, engineering, education, social sciences, geosciences and chemistry at the Jawzjan University.
