Karzai meets senior British officials

KABUL, Mark Sidwell, continued bilateral relations, Afghan peace process and Pakistan’s crucial role in peace talks.

Both sides also talked about Afghanistan’s preparations for Chicago and Tokyo Conferences, with Karzai describing the two events as very important for Afghanistan, a statement issued from the Presidential Palace said. 
The Afghan leader informed the senior British officials about his country’s readiness to attend the conferences, hoping good outcomes would be achieved.

Karzai also thanked for Britain’s assistance and support to Afghanistan. 
The British National Security Advisor reaffirmed his country’s long-term partnership with Afghanistan.

Darroch declared that the UK was fully prepared to participate in Chicago and Tokyo conferences on Afghanistan’s future.
