Illegal Afghans asked to leave Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

ISLAMABAD (PAN’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province set one month deadline for illegal Afghan refugees to leave, an official said on Wednesday.

The decision was taken keeping in view the deteriorating security situation in Peshawar city, the provincial capital, said Peshawar District Coordination Officer Siraj Ahmed.

He said Afghans having no legal documents had been asked to leave for their homeland within one month.

He asked all illegal Afghans to hounorably and voluntarily go to their country after the 25th of next month in order to avoid a legal action.

About 800,000 Afghans are currently living in the province.
