CHARIKAR): An Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier shot dead his aunt after a verbal clash over a property dispute in the Bagram district of central Parwan province on Thursday, an official said.
The 23-year-old was killed in the Qalacha Sokhta area in the afternoon, crime branch police officer Col. Mohammad Aram told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The alleged killer, Biland Khan, an ANA soldier, was arrested and the gun he used to kill the mother of three children recovered, he said.
A relative of the victim, Mohammad Nasim Paikar, said the woman was Khan’s aunt, who was killed as a result of an inheritance dispute. The women leaves behind two sons and a daughter, he added.
Elsewhere in the province, four people were detained on charges of abducting a foreign troops contractor, the officer said. Mohammad Ashraf was kidnapped at gunpoint on his way to the Bagram airport four days ago.
