JALALABAD (PAN, were killed and two others injured when a truck overturned and crashed into two cars in eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday, police said.
The tragic incident took place in the Saracha Pul area of Behsud district at 2pm, police chief Brig. Gen. Abdullah Hazim Stanikzai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The truck was coming from the Torkham border town to Jalalabad, the provincial capital, he said.
Public Health Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Sherzad confirmed receiving five bodies and two injured people from the scene. The injured are in a stable condition, he said.
