KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): An International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) soldier was killed in a roadside bomb attack, the Talibaninfo-icon’s weapon of choice, in southern Afghanistaninfo-icon, the alliance announced on Friday.

The soldier was killed in the blast in south of the country, the force said in a brief statement, which released no details about the fallen soldier’s nationality or the exact location of the incident.  

With the latest fatality, the number of international troops killed in the country this year increased to 164.

Mostly, Americans are stationed in southern Afghanistan.
