LASHKARGAH (PAN with Afghans’ Perspective” inaugurated in Lashkargah city, the capital of southern Helmand province on Saturday.
The exhibition has been organised by Third Eye, the centre of photo journalism, at provincial Information and Cultural department. A number of people including Helmand governor had visited the exhibition.
Talking to Pajhwok Afghan News, Mohammad Gulab Mangal, the governor said these programmes are sign of progress and peace in the country.
Every picture has a message and information too, he added and thanked journalists for collection of photos from different aspect of society.
The exhibition encouraged youth to adopt these kinds of activities, instead of fighting, Abdul Aziz, a participant of the exhibition said.
According to Raza Sahil, an organiser of the exhibition said he has brought 142 photos on various subjects to the city.
He has tried to collect issues, hidden from the society and at the same time those photos represented different cultures too, Sahil commented.
