6 militants dead in Wardak airstrike

MAIDAN SHAHR (PAN airstrike in the Narkh district of central Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Monday.

The incident happened in the Shahabuddin area late on Sunday night, the governor’s spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Shahidullah Shahid said bodies of the militants were still lying at the site of the airstrike and their ammunitions and weapons were seized by a joint ground force.

The Taliban are yet to comment on the incident.
