KABUL) soldiers were killed in separate incidents in the country, the alliance said on Saturday.
One of the soldiers was killed in a roadside bombing in the east, while the second succumbed to non-battle-related injuries in southern Afghanistan, ISAF said in a statement.
In line with its policy, ISAF neither revealed the fallen soldiers’ nationalities nor the exact locations of the incidents, but mostly American forces are stationed in the east. US, British and Canadian are deployed to southern Afghanistan.
So far in 2012, 188 multinational soldiers have been killed in different security incidents across the country. Last year, 566 NATO soldiers were killed in the country.
