KABUL on Saturday but no fatalities were reported, said the coalition forces.
The NATO–led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in a statement on Sunday confirmed the incident and said initial reports indicated “no enemy activity in the area.”
“All crew members have (been) recovered with no reported fatalities and the site of the incident is secure. ISAF is still in the process of assessing the circumstances to determine more facts,” added the statement.
Meanwhile, ISAF in a statement said two of its soldiers died in Southern Afghanistan, also on Saturday.
One soldier died in an improvised explosive device blast, while another killed in an insurgent attack.
But in line with its practice, ISAF did not reveal the identities of both victims or the exact location of the indent.
