Afghan Foreign Affairs Minister Zalmai Rassoul held talks with his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabani Khar in the capital on Friday, where both ministers discussed the subject.
At a news conference after the meeting, they announced that a joint commission to facilitate the release of Taliban prisoners and the draft of Pakistan-Afghanistan strategic agreement was also completed and expected to be inked soon.
Khar assured Rassoul of Pakistan’s continued support for Afghanistan and backed its peace process with various groups.
Besides, both ministers also discussed pressing issues facing the two nations such as terrorism and drugs.
