Highwaymen held in Yakawlang

BAMYAN CITY (PAN): Police on Friday claimed arresting four highwaymen during a raid in the Yakawlang district of central Bamyan province.

The armed robbers were arrested in Gahwara Sang area in cooperation with local residents, crime branch police chief Maj. Chaman Ali told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Three motorcycles, as many pistols, a hand grenade and some bullets were recovered from their possession, he said.
