JALALABAD (PAN) in the Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday, an official said.
The residence of Maulvi commander, in Peerakhel area came under attack at 3pm, Said Rahman Momand, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Anwarul Haq Haqiq, a resident of the area, said the raid caused no civilian casualty. A man named Mubarez was killed and three of his associates were wounded.
But Dr. Noor Agha, in charge of the district clinic, said they had received no wounded men so far.
Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for Taliban, acknowledged the loss of a fighter in the strike. Two others were wounded, he said.
