GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Two people were killed and 13 others, including three traffic policemen, wounded in a blast in southern Ghazni province on Saturday, officials said.
The explosion occurred around 12 noon when an explosives-rigged bicycle was detonated in Kola Sabz area on the outskirts of Ghazni City, the provincial police chief said.
Brig. Gen. Zarawar Zahid told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomber and a civilian were killed in the incident that left three traffic policemen and 10 civilians wounded.
Two dead bodies and 13 injured were taken to Ghazni Civil Hospital. Hospital Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Himmat said four of the wounded were in critical condition.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the explosion.
