The credentials were accepted at a ceremony, followed by a meeting, where the two sides discussed ways of further cementing bilateral relations, Karzai’s office said.
Karzai thanked Hungary for its assistance to Afghanistan and wished the new ambassador success in his new mission, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
Pleased with his assignment, Dragos said his country was ready to expand its links with Afghanistan in areas of economy and education.
He added his country was adding another 10 to the 24 scholarships to those already pledged to Afghan students to pursue higher education in Hungry.
