KABUL leader named Hamza was killed during a joint operation by Afghan and coalition forces in Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province, the alliance said on Tuesday.
Killed on Monday, an ISAF statement said Hamza was responsible for coordinating and conducting attacks against Afghan and coalition forces in Khugyani.
He specialised in improvised explosive device attacks, and also had a history of involvement in small arms and suicide attacks, the statement said.
