Policeman guns down 3 colleagues in Zabul

 KANDAHAR (PAN): A policeman has shot dead three of his colleagues in the Shamalzai district of southern Zabul province, an official said on Tuesday.

The overnight incident in Spinkai Manda area was the result of personal differences, the 303^rd Border Police Zone Commander, Brig. Gen. Tafsir Khan Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said the victims had exchanged harsh words with the killer a short while before they were gunned down. The killer managed to escape and the matter was being investigated, he added.

But a Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousaf Ahmadi, said their associate Mohammad Ismail killed his colleagues after poisoning them.
