JALALABAD (PAN): Five insurgents were killed and three others wounded in two different security incidents in the Alingar district of eastern Laghman province, an official said on Friday.
In one overnight incident, three fighters were killed and three others wounded when a roadside bomb they were planting went off prematurely in the Kanda Rajayee, the governor’s spokesman said.
Sarhadi Zwak told Pajhwok Afghan News Afghan soldiers killed another two rebels in the same district. The militants were shifting the wounded and dead associates from the area, he added.
