The floods damaged at least 167 homes across the province, where rains continued to lash eight districts, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, the governor’s spokesman, said.
He said Governor Gul Agha Sherzai had directed all provincial departments to extend cooperation to the natural disaster management authority in reaching out to those in need.
The Natural Disaster Management Authority had launched a survey to assess affected families, he said.
