KABUL.

Dozens of people, who participated in the rally organised by the Afghans’ United Council, called for the Taliban of the country.

Chanting “Allah-o-Akbar (God is greatest) and “Long live Islam”, the participants condemned discrimination in all forms and took a swipe at those who justified suicide attacks in the country.

Syed Ahmad Shakeb Muntaziri, the chairman of the council, told reporters the rally aimed to denounce and remove ethnic differences among the Afghans.

In a declaration, they urged all Afghans to endeavor for unity to strengthening the country to deal with the challenges facing it. The peaceful demonstration started from Allauddin Square and ended in Deh Mazang area.
