Heroin making labs destroyed in Badakhshan

FAIZABAD (PAN): Two heroin processing laboratories were destroyed and 35 kilograms of drugs and chemicals recovered during an operation by counternarcotics police in northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Monday.

The labs were destroyed in Rokhshan and Ghachan areas of Wardooj district, the counternarcotics department head at the provincial police headquarters, Col. Rafullah Farooghi, said.

No arrest could be made in connection with the labs, he said.
