KABUL): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Sunday announced the appointment of two senior officials in Kabul and western Farah provinces.

Mohammad Hakim Angar has been appointed as police chief for western Farah province and Agha Noor Kintoz as head of the heinous crime directorate at the interior ministry.

A statement from the ministry said that President Hamid Karzai had approved the appointments on a request from the MoI.
