4 civilians killed, 5 injured in Farah bombing

FARAH CITY (PANinfo-icon): At least four civilians were killed and five others injured during a roadside bombing in the Khak-i-Safid district of western Farah province on Sunday, an official said.

The explosion took place in Archi area at around 7am, when a car struck the roadside bomb, the town’s administrative head, Abdul Khaliq Nawrozi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

One area resident Mir Ahmad said a woman and three men were among those killed in the attack, which left five children wounded.

Public healthinfo-icon official Abdul Hakim Rassouli confirmed three injured people had been evacuated to hospital. He would not comment on their condition, however.
