Contracts for execution of the Worldinfo-icon Bank (WB)-funded projects were signed between the ministry and private construction companies in Kabul.

The projects, including six bridges, will be implemented in Panjsher, Parwan, Kunduz, Takhar and Maidan Wardak provinces, according to a statement from the ministry. A 14-kilometre road in Balkh province is included in the schemes.
