Bike explodes in Sar-i-Pul, no one hurt

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): A motorcycle exploded with a big bang after caching fire in a car parking facility at the governor’s house in northern Sar-i-Pul province, but no one was hurt, police said on Sunday.

The fire spread to another motorcycle, burning it down, deputy police chief, Sakhi Dad Haidari, said. There were no casualties in the incident that only caused financial losses, he said.

Earlier, a resident named Azizullah said the blast took place at 3:30pm 50 metres away from the governor’s office. He said security personnel had cordoned off the site.
