ISLAMABAD (PAN’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday, officials said.
A peace committee member was killed when a bomb blast occurred in Budaber area on the outskirts of Peshawar, the provincial capital, local police said.
The peace activist was killed on the spot when the roadside bomb planted near his residence was detonated with a remote-control device.
Elsewhere in the province, two remote-controlled bombs exploded in the Janikhel area of Bannu district, killing at least one security man and injuring three others. The injured were evacuated to a nearby hospital.
