ISAF supply trucks torched in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD (PANinfo-icon): Suspected militants set alight two International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) supply containers in Pakistaninfo-icon’s southwestern Balochistan province on Sunday.

The tankers came under arson attack in Mastung district on their way back to Karachi from Afghanistaninfo-icon, where they supplied fuel to foreign troops, a security official said.

Munir Ahmad, a Levies officer, said the militants opened fire on the trucks before torching them. The drivers escaped unhurt in the attack.

In the volatile northwest, two security personnel were injured in a remote-controlled bomb attack in restive North Waziristan tribal region. Their vehicle was targeted with an IED near the Esha check-post.
