ISAF supply trucks torched in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD (PAN’s southwestern Balochistan province on Sunday.

The tankers came under arson attack in Mastung district on their way back to Karachi from Afghanistan, where they supplied fuel to foreign troops, a security official said.

Munir Ahmad, a Levies officer, said the militants opened fire on the trucks before torching them. The drivers escaped unhurt in the attack.

In the volatile northwest, two security personnel were injured in a remote-controlled bomb attack in restive North Waziristan tribal region. Their vehicle was targeted with an IED near the Esha check-post.
