Baghlan accident claims 2 lives

PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): A man and a child were killed and three other people wounded in a road accident in the northern province of Baghlan, officials said on Monday.

The incident took place at 9pm when a civilian car crashed into a truck in Khinjan district, the traffic department head, Col. Syed Alam Shah, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

A man and his five years old son were killed while a woman, the driver and a child were wounded in the accident and taken to Baghlan Civil Hospital.

Hospital Director Dr. Gul Mohammad Wardak said the driver was in critical condition and had been referred to Kunduz for medical treatment.
