JALALABAD (PAN) on a joint mechanism to hold inclusive elections.

The party held a consultative meeting in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, to discuss next year’s presidential and provincial council polls.

The party’s deputy head, Moeen Mrastial, announced that supporters of the group would fully participate in the elections.

He said so far the party had neither decided on fielding a consensus presidential candidate nor entered any alliance in this regard.

However, he said their party would consider consultations with other political forces on fielding a joint presidential runner.

Mrastial said that the Right and Justice Party was concerned about transparency in elections because insecurity could prevent voters in border provinces from taking part in the process.

He urged the authorities concerned to come up with elaborate security plans to help people vote for a candidate of their choice and ensure no one was disenfranchised.

The politician also asked Pakistan on Tuesday.
