KABUL): A former National Coalition leader, Ahmad Wali Massoud, on Saturday called for an intra-Afghan agreement ahead of the election process.
Also a brother of Ahmad Shah Massoud, he told Pajhwok Afghan News all political actors and entities must agree on how to conduct the electoral process.
Massoud said he had presented the idea with a view to achieving the goal of intra-Afghan consensus on the election, scheduled for April 2014.
Among the founders of the National Coalition, he left the alliance a year ago and has since been pushing for the idea of national consensus. He stressed the timely conduct of the polls in a manner acceptable to all Afghans.
