SHARANA/TIRINKOT (PAN): Two schoolchildren were among six civilians killed by roadside bombs in central Uruzgan and southeastern Paktika provinces, officials said on Thursday.
The schoolchildren were on their way home on Thursday noon when a Taliban-planted roadside bomb went off in the Sara Roza district, killing both, the town’s police chief, Raz Mohammad Mukhlis, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A similar blast killed a girl and a boy in the Sarab district of Uruzgan province on Thursday morning, hours later another two civilians died in a roadside bombing in the Khas Uruzgan district, the governor’s office said.
