KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): Suspected insurgents on Monday set alight three International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) supply containers in Pakistaninfo-icon's southwestern Balochistan province.

Four militants on two motorbikes opened fire at containers in the Bypass area of Quetta, the provincial capital, a leading Pakistani newspaper quoted police as saying.

The assailants torched the vehicles after the drivers fled as a result of gunfire, Dawn reported. The containers were destroyed before firefighters reached the site.

As usual, the attackers managed make good their escape from the scene. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the assault, which came a day after a container was burnt in Bolan district.
