KABUL): A high schoolgirl was stabbed in Kabul on Monday, an official said, adding police had launched an investigation into the incident.
Kabul Education Director Najibullah Kamran said it remained unclear who stabbed the girl at the Aryana High School, but explained she was injured in the bathroom where her sister and cousin were present.
He said the three girls had left home for school together in the morning. The student was slightly injured and her condition was stable, the official said.
The injured girl accused her sister, cousin and another classmate of attacking her, while a school guard said he did not see any one attacking the student.
