Karzai, Dobbins discuss security pact, peace bid

KABUL James Dobbins called on President Hamid Karzai in Kabul last night, the Presidential Palace said on Wednesday.

Karzai and Dobbins, who plan to visit Pakistan in the near future, discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest, including the stalled reconciliation process.

The two sides also conferred on the Bilateral Security Agreement between the US and Afghanistan, a statement from Karzai’s office said. They also reviewed  the regional situation.
