KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): A woman leader of the Pakhtun Nationalist Awami National Party (ANP) has been assassinated inside her residence in Pakistaninfo-icon’s northwestern city of Peshawar, media reports said on Saturday.

Her husband Hanif Jadoon, also an ANP leader, was killed along with his son and guard in a suicide bomb attack in July 2011. She was a candidate for a provincial assembly seat reserved for womeninfo-icon in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
