CHARIKAR have killed an operative of the National Directorate of Security near the capital of central Parwan province, an official said on Sunday.
Abdul Qadir, 45, came under attack in Toghbardi area on the outskirts of Charikar on Saturday, crimes branch chief, Col. Lutfur Rahman Rashad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The intelligence was on the way from his home to the office, he said, adding that the victim had no personal enmity.
Meanwhile, the Taliban claimed responsibility for killing Qadir, saying he was deputy intelligence chief for Parwan.
