MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): A market expansion programme was launched small private-sector entities in northern Balkh province to development, officials said on Thursday.

Already executed in Kabul Bank, a Ministry of Commerce official said.

Abdul Rahim Syedi told reporters: “The focus of the programme will be on improving the quality of Afghan products, their sorting and designing.” Product marketing is part of the project.

Suraya, business affairs head of the Balkh Women’s Association, said they were faced only with the marketing problem for their products and it would be resolved with the implementation of the programme.

The programme would help Balkh traders improve their businesses and marketing of Afghan products, said the Rostam Suhrab Business Company head, Wahida Nawabzada.
