Mis Ainak beat Spin Ghar in test match

KABUL): The Ainak Club defeated Spin Ghar by five wickets in a test match as part of the Ahmad Shah Abdali tournament underway at the Kabul International Stadium, an official said on Sunday.

Spin Ghar decided to bat after winning the toss and managed to pile up 322 runs in their first innings in 62.2 overs, the cricket board spokesman said.

Farid Hotak said Nasim Surkhro scored 67 runs, Naqib 56 and Anwar 46 for Spin Ghar. For Mis Ainak, Rokhan grabbed six wickets and Junaid two.

In reply, Mis Ainak made 343 runs with one wicket in hand in 75 overs, with Noor Ali Zardan hitting an impressive century. He contributed 123 runs, followed by Ziaul Haq with 66 and Ahmad Sahak 65.

In their second innings, Spin Ghar lost all 10 wickets scoring 255 runs in 50 overs, setting a 243 runs target which the rivals achieved in the 33rd over with five wickets in hand.
