ISAF soldiers come under bomb attack

Sep 20, 2013 - 16:04

LASHKARGAH (PANinfo-icon): International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) troops have come under attack in southern Helmand province, an official said on Friday.

Omar Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the foreign soldiers were attacked with a bomb in Lashkargah, the provincial capital.

Although Zwak had no information about casualties resulting from the roadside bombing, a source in the police headquarters said two NATOinfo-icon-led soldiers were wounded.

As usual, the Talibaninfo-icon claimed responsibility and said 18 foreign troops had been killed and many others wounded in the car bombing.
