ISAF’s surveillance aircraft crashes in Paktia

GARDEZ (PAN) crashed near Gardez, the capital of southeastern Paktia province, on Monday.

The plane went crashed in Teri Kotal mountainous area due to technical fault in the afternoon, the provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Zalmai Oryakhel, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

NATO-led troops found and took away the aircraft’s wreckage in the wake of a brief search operation, the police boss said, giving no further details of the incident.
