KABUL and Religious Affairs (MHRA) said on Thursday.
This year, a total of 25,000 Afghans would be flown to Saudi Arabia for performance of the hajj ritual, officials say, claiming requisite facilities had been put in place for them.
Deputy Hajj and Auqaf Minister Dayee-ul Haq Abid told Pajhwok Afghan News that the process of airlifting pilgrims would continue until October 3.
He added the pre-hajj operation had been hitch-free so far and pilgrims, who had reached Saudi Arabia, were satisfied with the services made available to them.
