Faryab crash claims 3 policemen’s lives

MAIMANA (PAN): Three policemen were killed and four others sustained critical injuries when their vehicle overturned on a road in northwestern Faryab province on Sunday, an official said.

The speeding pickup was negotiating a turn in Khwaja Sabzposh district as the driver lost control, the district chief, Abdullah Masoomi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He confirmed three policemen had died and four others, including an officer, injured in the accident.

A doctor at Faryab civil hospital, Asadullah, said they had been delivered three wounded policemen in critical condition.
