A Pajhwok correspondent reported from the commission’s office that Eng. Mohammad Khan, the Hezb-I-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) deputy chief, and Mohammad Mohaqiq would be Abdullah’s vice-presidents.
A day earlier, the HIA faction, led by Economy Minister Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal, said Khan would be the first-vice president if Abdullah won the presidential ballot.
