KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): A member of the Wolesi Jirgainfo-icon or lower house of the parliament on Thursday said he has been appointed as advisor to President Hamid Karzai on Kuchiinfo-icon tribe affairs.

Abdul Qadar Kuchi said told Pajhwok Afghan News President picked him as his advisor through a decree due to his experience and services toward promotion of the tribe’s interests.

Son of Fairoz Khan, Abdul Qadar Kuchi is a resident of Baharabad area of Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province.

The former Nangarhar Public Works Director said he would keep update the president about problems and needs of his tribe.

“Kuchi tribesmen face many problems because they have been neglected over the past 12 years,” he said, inssiting Kuchis wanted access to educationinfo-icon, healthinfo-icon facilities and homes to live in comfort.
